The sun shines its light on everything
That comes in its path.
The diseased and rotted log,
As well as the beautiful flower.
It illuminates the essence of each thing
It shines upon, yet it does not judge.
Nor does it decide which things
It will shine upon, such as,
"I will only shine upon the beauty that I see."
It shines on everything.
And that is how we are to let
The inner light of our Divine Spirit shine;
On everyone and everything.
The kind as well as the cruel.
Without judgment.
Our work is not to judge;
Our work is to SHINE. |
